Introducing CATIA Natural Sketch, a groundbreaking application that revolutionizes the way designers bring their ideas to life in 3D.

Project Overview:
   CATIA Natural Sketch makes designing easier by letting designers draw and see their ideas in 3D. I worked with the Dassault Systemes team to create this app, starting from researching what it needed to do, to deciding how it should look and work. Our goal was to help designers explore new ways of creating. Designing in 3D has always been hard, especially for those used to drawing in 2D. Natural Sketch makes it easier, so designers can come up with better ideas using powerful 3D tools. Years later, Gravity Sketch got ideas from our app and made something similar with virtual reality which is an obvious trendy media for exploring ideas.
Now, big companies in the car, tech, and other industries use CATIA Natural Sketch in their design process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Led the design concept & research and development of CATIA Natural Sketch, ensuring a user-friendly interface and seamless integration with existing design workflows.
- Defining the visual and graphics design brand and the User Experience feature functions.
- Collaborated with cross-functional R&D teams to integrate innovative sketching and 3D visualization features, pushing the boundaries of design technology.

Key Challenges:
- Addressed the complexity of translating 2D sketches into accurate 3D representations, ensuring that design intent is preserved throughout the process.
- Navigated the technical challenges of integrating natural sketching capabilities with existing 3D modeling tools (CATIA technologies) , optimizing performance and usability.
